Hi, I’m Andrew — a South African with a love for wild places and the stories they hold. A Mind on the Move is my field journal: photography, travel notes, and reflections.

Here you’ll find close-up encounters with wildlife, essays from remote landscapes, and dispatches from my travels with my partner. I try to capture not just what I see, but what it means — the natural history, the context, and the details that make a place come alive.

It’s part photo essay, part notebook, part commentary on things out of the ordinary. Informal, but always curious.
